Mityana Women Maize Farmers’ cooperative society was established on 21st July 2022 with support from Finn Church Aid. Our primary goal is to support women to launch and grow profitable, sustainable enterprises. The cooperative operates as a multipurpose business entity, promoting collective action, enhancing access to inputs, and aggregating financial resources through savings and credit services. Since its formation, the cooperative has evolved into a dynamic platform for women’s economic empowerment in Mityana District.
